Also, your carnival button will serve as your lift ticket for all events you register for, and will give you free skiing access to Howelsen Hill. When you register for events at the carnival, you'll be asked to sign a simple safety waiver. The festivities will begin February 9th and continue on through February 13th. One of the most anticipated events across this 5-day carnival is the Air Bag Jam Session, which will be happening February 10th this year from 2-6 PM.

Have you ever seen professional athletes freestyle, ski, and snowboard live? That's what you'll see at the Air Bag Jam Session, only they will be landing in a 50’ airbag after performing their stunts. This is definitely a one of a kind experience and is fun for the entire family. The carnival will also feature a snow sculpture contest. Contest entries will be displayed in downtown Steamboat for all to see.
