Planet Pioneers at the Air & Space Museum

The Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum has a new exhibit, Planet Pioneers. Explore the 17 hands-on space exhibits. The exhibits challenges visitors to colonize the planet through full-body and cognitive challenges. Drive a 4-D Surface Exploration Vechicle, fly a virtual drone and experience G-Force in a spnning capsule. Find sources of water and oxygen, build shelter and grow food in an unknown world.


Planet Pioneers is incluede in Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum admission. General admission fees are $18.95, though there are discounts for children, seniors, and military personnel.


About Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum


Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is Colorado's official air and space museum established in 1997. It's located in Hangar 1 of the former Lowry Air Force Base. The museum was formed by a small group of volunteers with loaned aircraft from the US Air Force Museum. The museum now includes spacecraft and civilian aircraft. Wings Over the Rockies is home to world-class historical exhibits, interactive experiences, realistic flight simulators, iconic aircraft, space vehicles, artifacts, military uniforms and memorabilia. It's a great entertainment and educational experience.
