As we enter October, Halloween and similar ghoulish parties are sure to be on everyone's mind. If you usually host or attend a Halloween party, you're probably rethinking things this year due to the pandemic. Gatherings, even small ones, have the potential of spreading the virus. Instead of dreaming up ways to overcome social distancing guidelines, why not get together with your friends and family online and watch some good old-fashioned horror films?

A 5280 Horror Movie Event

The Mile High Horror Film Festival (or the MHHFF for short) is a Denver shindig that showcases celebrated horror films from around the world. Established a decade ago, this festival has quickly grown into one of the largest genre film festivals in North America. Typically hosted in the Denver metropolitan area, the MHHFF usually boasts sold out shows and elite film premiers in amazing venues all over the city. A virtual edition of the festival began September 24th and will end October 4th.

A $75 "Scream Pass," will grant you access to over 80 horror films. This includes episodes from Adam Green's Holliston television series and much more. There are also 9 feature films available, including chilling titles such as The Cleansing Hour and Evil Dead. With even more short films and Q and A's, there will be plenty of things to see and enjoy this year whether you're into slasher films or the occasional creature feature. Contact The Mile High Horror Film Festival to get your tickets before the event ends!
