About Meow Wolf
Meow Wolf is first and foremost an arts and entertainment company. The first Meow Wolf was established in 2016 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the company is also headquartered. In 2021 they opened sibling venues in both Las Vegas and Denver. Just as strange as the permanent art installations inside, the location of the Denver venue is peculiar and historic. The Denver Meow Wolf lies between on and off ramps between I-70 and I-25. The art inside these walls aim to create immersive and interactive experiences. Audiences of all ages are transported into fantastic realms of story and exploration when they enter the iconic Convergence Station.
One of the great things about Meow Wolf is that is helps the communities that it has established venues in. In fact, it has contributed over $2 million to nonprofit partners since its inception. The organization recognizes an obligation to local, community-based nonprofit organizations that serves in these areas, like Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Denver, Grapevine and Houston. The idea here is that their investments in local partners will increase access to the arts and stimulate the creative economy. And it has truly worked! Amber Cobb's exhibit at the Denver Meow Wolf is a shinning example that local artists are given amazing opportunities through their outreach.
