A Colorado Comedy Theatre Series

The story of Moon Over Buffalo follows Charlotte and George Hay. The Hay's, "an acting couple not exactly the Lunts, are on tour in Buffalo in 1953 with a repertory consisting of Cyrano de Bergerac 'revised, one nostril version' and Noel Coward's Private Lives." Like many great comedies, everything that can go wrong with Charlotte and George does go wrong. The plot thickens when the couple gets a visit from their daughter’s clueless fiancé. They are constantly trying to figure out which play they’re actually performing. Also, there is a ton of tension caused by Charlotte’s deaf, old stage-manager mother who hates every bone in George’s body.

Though it is only two thirds through its scheduled run, Moon Over Buffalo has already garnered a ton of great praise and rave reviews. USA Today commented that "Moon Over Buffalo packs more comic genius onto the stage than anything in recent memory!" Also, The New York Times stated that "Ken Ludwig is one of those rare contemporary playwrights who thinks in terms of old-fashioned knockabout farce, and that’s something to be cherished." This is a show that you will not want to miss!
