Ghost Tours in Golden Colorado
Harkening back to 1859, Golden sprung up like many western towns because of rumors of gold. Some of the rumors where true and eventually what was called the Golden Valley was shortened to just Golden. A lot of miners lived and died in the area, sparking stories of ghosts. Legend has it that ghosts can still be heard picking away in the mines and walking the streets, searching for their final resting place. This unique history tour is a night of storytelling, ghost hunting, and exploring the secrets of Golden. So prepare for exercise, learning, and to get a little spooked.
Participants will meet at the Goosetown Station bar and will feature other pubs in Downtown Golden along the way. Though the drinks are included at the Goosetown Station, the spirits at other bars are not included in the tour price. However the venues we stop at are all affordably priced and there will be non-alcoholic beverages available too. Because of the history of Golden and the nature of the tour, it does come with a content warning. There will be stories of murder, suicide, and other gruesome acts. Also, if you can't make it this month, don't worry. Check on their website for more available dates in June.
