The Long Run Tribute Band
The Long Run is a fantastic tribute to The Eagles, a popular American rock band from the 70s. "The Long Run" is actually a reference to one of The Eagles hits. The Long Run is a local band that comes from the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Northern Colorado. The band was created in 2009 and performed at many fairs and festivals in the Four Corners states region. Fast-forward to 2019, they have played concerts at the famous Paramount Theatre in downtown Denver and at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison. The group is made up of rock stars in their own right.
This is particularly true of the band's feature vocalist and guitarist Steve Thomas. Steve Thomas is "a veteran musician/entertainer who has performed all over the United States as well as a tour of Central America for the Department Of Defense with the band Windfield." Like many rock artist's of this generation, Steve has been a part of several bands, including Firefall, in which he performed as the lead vocalist/guitarist. Hits from this band include "Just Remember I Love You," "You Are The Women," and "Cinderella." Even if you were not a child of the 70s and 80s, you'll love discovering Colorado's Tribute to The Eagles!
