Flyte Co Brewing
Flyte Co founders Jason and Eric first became interested in brewing back in 2008 when they received a home-brewing kit as a gift. The duo were both engineering students at the University of Colorado in Boulder and quickly became fascinated with the scientific process of beer-making. It wasn't long until the two began plans for their own brewery. In order to get "the plane off the ground," they enlisted the help of their friend Morgan in 2013. Fast-forward to 2019, and Flyte Co Brewing opened just north of the West Highlands neighborhood in Denver on West 28th Avenue.
The name of the company comes from the owners mutual love of piloting small planes. Many of their brews are named after planes and other plane-related terms. Since the brewery's inception, it now has an integrated coffee shop and bagel eatery. The Flyte Co Taproom boasts 15 taps, including their very own hand-crafted brews. The brewery has received a number of awards. Among the most prestigious of awards they've gotten are the silver medal for the "Marzen Copter" and bronze medal for the "P-38 Pumpkin Porter" at the 2021 Brewski Awards.
