As the Fourth of July approaches, Colorado eagerly prepares to illuminate the night skies with vibrant displays of colorful fireworks. If fireworks hold a special place in your heart alongside barbecues and chilled beverages, here are some noteworthy events taking place across the state. July 4th 2023 Celebrations in Colorado


Celebrate your holiday in style by joining the festivities at the Independence Eve event in Civic Center Park. This delightful four-hour gathering, taking place in Denver's Civic Center Park, kicks off at 5:00 p.m. on July 3rd. Prepare to be enthralled by the enchanting performance of the Colorado Symphony, an awe-inspiring light show, and a grand finale of spectacular fireworks. Best of all, this event is free, although guests will need to undergo a security screening before entering.


For an extraordinary fireworks experience, head to Coors Field. The Colorado Rockies have planned extravagant firework displays following two home games leading up to Independence Day. Mark your calendars for the games on June 30th and July 1st to witness the dazzling pyrotechnic shows. Additionally, Elitch Gardens in Denver will be hosting a magnificent firework show at 8 p.m. on Monday, July 3rd. This captivating display is complimentary for both season and daily ticket holders, making it a perfect choice for an evening of excitement.
