Colorado is the home of hundreds of small breweries, each with their unique products and experiences, like the Avery Brewing Company in Boulder or the Mahogany Ridge Brewery & Grill in Steamboat. But you don't have to drive that far to experience great brews. Many of these breweries can be found and enjoyed in Denver. If you just moved to the city or are only visiting, there is a new tour that will let you experience the city and it's breweries in a unique and safe way. I'm talking about the Denver Brewery Bike Loop. Continue reading for everything you need to know about this one of a kind experience.

Breweries by Bike

Participants in this event will bike to five unique breweries in west Denver. Not only will you be getting your daily exercise, you will also enjoy discounts on products along the way. Biking from brewery to brewery is a safe and legal solution to driving. When you complete the loop you will be greeted with a voucher for free products! The event occurs the last Saturday of every month starting in April and ending in September. So there are plenty of opportunities to join in the fun. You can join the monthly group ride or bike the loop on your own on the appropriate days from 12 to 6 PM. It's completely up to you how you want to experience the bike loop.

If you utilize the group ride, destinations will rotate between breweries each month departing at noon from the respective brewery. Though the starting point may change, the route will always include WestFax, Joyride, Hogshead, Oasis, and Seedstock. What's the best thing about this event? It is completely free to join. All you have to do is simply check-in at any participating brewery to receive an official wristband and stamp card. With the stamp card you'll get $1 off a small pour at each participating brewery during each monthly ride. Once your stamp card is full, you can get a free pint at any of the stops on the route.
